How we handle the information you give us when you book an appointment online.
Crown Head Spa ("we", "us") runs head spa and massage branches in Biñan and Calamba, Laguna. This page explains what personal information we collect through crownheadspa.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
We handle your information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
What we collect
The only place this website collects personal information is the booking form. When you send a booking request we receive:
- Your full name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address, if you choose to give one — it is optional
- The branch, treatment, date and time you are asking for
- The names of any companions you are booking for, and the treatment each of them wants
- Anything you write in the notes field
You do not create an account, and no payment is taken on this website. We do not ask for your address, birthday, or any identification document in order to book.
A note about the notes field
The notes field invites you to tell us about scalp concerns or allergies. Anything you write about your health is sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act, and we only receive it because you chose to type it. Please share only what our therapists genuinely need in order to treat you safely. Leaving the field blank will not stop your booking from going through.
Why we collect it
- To confirm your appointment. A form submitted here is a request, not a confirmed booking. Our staff call or text the mobile number you gave us to confirm it, which is why that number has to be reachable.
- To hold your slot while we try to reach you, so someone else is not given the same time.
- To prepare your treatment — the branch, service and any notes go to the therapist who will attend to you.
We do not use the details from this form to send you marketing unless you have separately agreed to it.
Booking for other people
If you add companions, you are giving us their names on their behalf. Please only do this for people who are happy for you to do so.
Some of our treatments are for children. If you are booking for a child, you are confirming that you are their parent or guardian and that you consent on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.
Who sees it, and where it is kept
- Our staff. Booking requests appear in our internal system, and staff can see only the branch or branches they are assigned to.
- Our hosting provider. The website and the booking records run on Google Firebase. This means your information is stored on servers outside the Philippines. Google is bound by its own data protection commitments, and we remain responsible for your information while it is there.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as you remain our client and for five years after your last visit, so that we can honour follow-ups, handle disputes, and meet our record-keeping obligations. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
A request we were never able to confirm is kept for a shorter period — long enough to show what was asked for and what happened to it.
Cookies and tracking
This website currently uses only what it needs to work. It stores your cookie choice on your own device so we do not ask you the same question on every page. There is nothing on this site that follows you to other websites.
If we later add tools that measure how the site is used, or that let us show our advertising to people who have visited us, those will run only if you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind at any time using the link at the bottom of any page — and declining costs you nothing: the site works exactly the same either way.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:
- be told what we hold about you, and ask for a copy
- have anything wrong corrected
- object to how we are using it
- ask us to erase or block it, where the law allows
- be told if your information is compromised
- complain, and claim damages if you have been harmed
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond as promptly as we can. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your concern, you may raise it with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
Keeping it safe
Access to booking records requires a staff account, and staff see only the branches they work at. Information sent from this website travels over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but if something goes wrong in a way that puts you at risk, we will tell you and notify the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
